caviar, myanmar, midsize car!

Little Jeanne Baudin was a very happy blonde toddler, toddling along her parents' house. Her mom and dad gave her all the love and attention in the world, though sometimes mom's big belly got in the way. One day, though, her mom disappeared! She came back a few days later with no belly and a little...baby thing. Mommy and Daddy introduced Jeanne to little Gerald, and wasn't her little brother so cute?

Well, sure. She guessed so.

Three days later, Jeanne was bored with the boy, and asked her mother in her broken toddler babble, "baby go bye bye now?" ...Not so much, Jeanne. Sorry about that. Still, after that initial demand for the return of her baby brother to the hospital, Jeanne grew to love her brother, and the two have been nearly inseparable since. Only two years apart in school, Jeanne gave her brother an opportunity to walk in and be known as "Jeanne's brother", which was amusing to Jeanne since she rarely thought of herself as popular. Apparently, being on varsity soccer freshman year counts for something somewhere. When high school was ending, though, she had no idea what she wanted to do with her life. She was envious of her brother, who had already made the decision to be a cop and start focusing his energy on that particular life skill. Jeanne wasn't actually very good at anything besides sports. At least that passion had made her moderately cool, and she had a lot of friends.

Jeanne started working at NYSC over the summer before college started; being that she had no high expectations of anything for herself, she'd enrolled at CUNY for her basic liberal arts prerequisites, and whatever came along came along. Jeanne found she liked working in the gym, and after two years getting her general ed requirements out of the way, Jeanne transferred to York College and enrolled in their Movement Science program. She graduated after only an extra semester of work, and passed her CSCS certification shortly thereafter. She graduated from the front desk at NYSC to training, and the general manager at her club recommended she get a higher certification; she agreed and was accepted to Columbia's Applied Physiology program as a part-time student (a decision she now kind of regrets, because the pay increase didn't exactly make up for the massive amount of college loan debt she accumulated, but hey, life sucks). She continued working as a trainer during her MA curriculum and graduated after two years.

Right after she turned 30, Jeanne was pretty depressed with how her life was going. She realized she was single, working a boring commission job (though she loved the gym, the whole thing was getting really monotonous), living in (ugh) Brooklyn, and her brother was busy being a superstar for the NYPD. Not that she was jealous, though - she was glad at least someone in the family was being successful, even if it wasn't her, and she'd always known her brother was going places. Hell, he was helping her with science homework back when they were in school together. Jeanne briefly considered moving to some random land and starting over, but knew she'd miss her family and friends way too much. Instead, she applied on a whim for a transfer to the Wall Street NYSC - they had an opening for their fitness manager. To her surprise, she got the job, and she's been working there ever since. Yeah, the commute sucks, the hours aren't great, but at least her clientele is generally older - and less douchebaggy. She also tends to get to train clients on the side, which definitely helps her cashflow. It's not technically against the rules, since she's not on the clock when she does it, but it can be...shady. She doesn't care, though. It gave her the opportunity to get a much nicer place and even though she kind of hates Brooklyn, she loves her apartment.

As far as her personal life goes, Jeanne...doesn't have much of one. Most of the men she's interested in tend to be uninterested in her; most men who take interest in her are people she has to deal with on a regular basis (aka gym goers), and she'd love to have a little bit of a work-life balance. No one she's ever dated has really stuck around for more than a few months; one of them usually gets bored and moves on...and it's usually her. Jeanne tends to have a very short attention span for most things, and dating is not an exception. However, because of her easygoing nature, she tends to remain on good terms with most of them. Plus, she figures she doesn't really need a relationship to be happy. She's got her friends, and her own confidence, and those things are validating enough.

likes lifting, green juices, spending time with family, jokes, living in a bubble, kale, Christmas, Halloween, any excuse for her to throw a party.
dislikes Brooklyn, bros, crossfitters, hipsters, people who don't respect her AUTHORITAH, blonde jokes directed at her

overview For the most part, Jeanne is very easygoing, despite the loudmouthed exterior she keeps up. It's never like she's actually badmouthing anyone (not in a mean way, at least). She's just loud. Jeanne has never been afraid to speak her mind. Admittedly, some of that probably stems from an insecurity of being in a work environment where she's surrounded by people much bigger and stronger than her - but dammit, she's in charge, and everyone needs to know that, okay?! Yeah, so maybe she has a few adequacy issues. Don't remind her...especially if you're one of her clients. You'll probably end up doing deadlift burpees because, well, she can make you do that, and she enjoys not a small amount of schadenfreude at her clients' suffering.

Beyond that, she's actually quite fun-loving. Sure, she has her down moments (who doesn't?) but for the most part, she takes a very easygoing, carefree approach to life. She figures there's too much bad stuff in the world to focus on it all, and stress physically makes her ill, so she pretty much chooses to live in a little bubble of her own making. Sure, it's not exactly the best way to cope with stuff and tends to inspire blonde jokes because of her general ignorance, but she doesn't mind. She'll just laugh it off and tease you back. Plus, she throws great parties. She will occasionally have her moments, but she tries to keep them as few and far between as possible.

Jeanne is fiercely loyal to her very small family. She would do anything for her parents and brother...and his partner, and the small circle of friends she has, who she considers family as well. It wasn't their fault they don't all share genes. They're as good as blood to her. Despite having what she considers a small group of close friends, she's generally not outwardly a mean asshole to people. She prefers to think of herself as the fun-loving kind of asshole with the maturity of a twelve-year-old boy.

01 does not believe she's ever been in romantic love. also doesn't think she's missing out, because she loves her friends so much, nothing could ever compare.
02 if you can make it in a blender, she's put kale in it.
03 is possibly in a common-law marriage with her Netflix account and Crock Pot.
04 goes upstate as many weekends as possible to work out at a small MMA gym, for no other reason than she actually likes getting her ass kicked. She knows it's a weird thing, but it's an adrenaline rush for her.
